They’re so polite here in Wellington. It’s something you’ll notice as a first time visitor, when everyone leaving by even the centre door of a bus or a trolley bus says “Thankyou Driver”.
In Wellington yesterday (in the Dominion Post here) there was another woman hit by a bus. She was on her bike in the Basin Reserve. I hope she’s not too badly injured. The bus that hit her had it’s electronic sign reading “Sorry.” That’s so polite. It’s like a car driver with a megaphone after running down a cyclist saying “sorry old chap”
But if you go to Gothenburg stay out of the way of this tram. It’s very, very angry.
